How to Convert(Rip) DVD And Video to 3GP Video
1. Install and run 3GP Mobile Video Converter. With it you'll be able to convert from almost all video formats (DVD, DivX/XviD video, AVI, WMV, MPG, MPEG, DAT(VCD), RM, RMVB, Tivo2Go, DVR-MS, QT, MOV and more) to 3GP video.

2. Click "Open ..." button and choose a video file or DVD disc to open. Wait for the movie to start playing in the preview window.

3. You can choose from one of the supported resolutions - 128x96 or 176x144 (the default one). If the movie you are converting has top/bottom black bars or other unimportant parts (like subtitles you don't need) you can choose a Crop Mode to cut those off the video.

You can also adjust the desired quality to reduce the output size of the movie.

In the preview window you will see what the resulting movie will look like.

When you have set the desired settings simple click on the "Record it" button to convert the video/DVD. Depending on the settings a 60 minutes video is converted on average for 25 minutes.

4. When the process finishes you can test the recorded video file on your PC using QuickTime to see if it works well. The 3GP file type is not associated with QuickTime by default, so you should use Open With... context menu option.

Convert Movie

Copy the converted movie on a memory card and insert it in your phone. Alternatively you can use a data cable, bluetooth or IR to transfer the movie using the software provided by your phone manufacturer.

Additional Settings

1. Video Quality

You can adjust the video quality from 66kbps, 15fps (Low Quality) up to 182kbps, 15fps (High quality). With the quality increases also the output file size.

2. Audio Quality

There are 2 audio quality modes to choose: 32kbps Mono (Default Phone Quality), 48kbps Mono. The later option provides a better sound quality.

3. DVD subtitle(subpicture), language

It is recommended to use the native DVD menu in the preview panel to set subtitle(subpicture) and language. (Click "DVD menu" button on the right to show native DVD menu in the preview panel) You may also change the subtitle(subpicture), language in the program's Options menu, but there are some DVDs that require the change must be made in the native DVD menu instead of the program's menu.
